Rescue services en route after two cyclists fall off mountain bike paths in Glen Forrest, Hacketts Gully

Two cyclists have been injured after falling off separate bike paths on Sunday morning as rescue services are en route to try and winch the riders out. The first incident was reported at 10.30am on Sunday following reports of a woman becoming injured after falling off a mountain trail while riding a bike in Glen Forrest. According to a DFES spokesperson, St John Ambulance arrived at 10.50am and initially had trouble trying to locate her. She was located a short while later and an RAC helicopter transported her to Royal Perth Hospital. It is understood the woman is in a stable condition. At about 12.30pm, a male cyclist in his 20s was reported to have fallen off another mountainous bike path in Hacketts Gully. St John Ambulance was notified. More to come.
