Man dies, teenagers injured after horror crash in Churchlands

A 58-year-old man has died and a teenager has been injured after a crash in Churchlands overnight.

The crash happened at about 10pm at the intersection of Pearson Road and Cromarty Road.

Police say a black Mercedes Benz and grey Holden Commodore ere involved in a collision, sending debris spilling across the road.

The 58-year-old driver of the Mercedes died at the scene, while his 16-year-old female passenger was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.

The 20-year-old male driver of the Commodore and his 18-year-old male passenger were also taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.

Major Crash investigators are appealing for witnesses to the crash, or who saw the vehicles prior to the crash. Anyone with information is ask to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online.
