NEW CASES
* 510 new locally acquired cases
* One death, a woman in her 50s, bringing the total from the current outbreak to nine
* 124 cases linked to outbreaks, source of 386 cases unknown
- 276 new cases in Melbourne's northern suburbs, including Craigieburn, Roxburgh Park and Broadmeadows
- 185 in western suburbs, including Truganina and Hoppers Crossing
- 38 in southern and eastern suburbs, including Dandenong, Cranbourne North and Pakenham
- Nine in regional Victoria - three in Ballarat, two in Geelong, two in Mitchell Shire, one in East Wimmera and one in the La Trobe Valley
- Three cases with unknown location
* 4697 active cases in the state, 85 per cent of them aged under 50, a quarter aged under 20
* 208 people in hospital, 49 in intensive care with 32 on ventilators
* 55,476 COVID-19 tests in the 24 hours to Friday morning
VACCINATIONS
* Victoria has reached its first vaccine milestone, with 70.25 per cent of the eligible population having received a first dose, allowing for some restrictions to be eased at 11.59pm on Friday
* 43,993 COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on Wednesday at state-run hubs, a daily record
* More than three million vaccines administered through the state-run hubs in total
* 80,500 people made vaccination bookings on Thursday
* 7700 first dose AstraZeneca appointments available
* 5600 first dose Pfizer appointments available
* Of those in hospital, 87 per cent are not vaccinated, 12 per cent partially vaccinated, with two people fully vaccinated
EXPOSURE SITES
* More than 877 exposure sites including about 30 sites in Ballarat
