Broome’s David Aristei has been nominated for the small business achievement award as part of the 7News Young Achiever Awards.

The awards acknowledge, encourage and promote the positive achievements of all young people throughout each State up to and in-cluding 29 years of age as of December 31 each year.

Mr Aristei, 28, has been nominated for his work as general manager of Broome Plumbing and Gas, building on a successful few years for the business which included winning the 2020 Broome Chamber of Commerce and Industry overall business of the year award. Judging of the awards will be completed on March 31, before the presentation on May 29.

Category winners will receive $2000 worth of prizes and a trophy.

One of the category winners will also be named the 2021 WA young achiever of the year.
