The 2026 Albany Show isn’t for a couple of weeks yet, but one show bag has already been collected.

In a bid to promote earlybird ticket sales, the Albany Agricultural Society launched a BIG Showbag giveaway which was won by Susan Wilson.

Ms Wilson collected the bag, which contained about $1000 worth of prizes donated by trade exhibitors and local Albany businesses.

The show takes place on November 13-14 with the society promising the usual mix of entertainment, agricultural activities and fun for all the family.

Event co-ordinator Sally Newman said the giveaway was a success and thanked the businesses which donated.

“We were delighted with the opportunity to introduce something new this year, while also showcasing the wonderful businesses that support our annual community event,” she said.

She said the countdown to the show was building and promised exciting new attractions, as well as all the favourites.
