Manypeaks will be aiming for a clean sweep of senior grand final titles as they tackle A, B and C-grade contests on Saturday in what should be a thrilling conclusion to the Albany and Districts Cricket Association season.

While the top guns are coming up against the Royals in the big showdown on Turf North, the same opponents will face off in the B-grade finale on Hard North synthetic wicket next door.

Peaks, perennial B-grade threats, will be happy to face opposition other than Denmark – their opponents for the last three grand finals, with the title regularly changing hands between the pair.

While Collingwood Park topped the B-grade ladder, they came to grief in the qualifying final against Peaks and lost again as 90 runs, plus a four-wicket haul with the ball, from Angus Thompson put third-placed Lions into the showpiece match.

Park, however, will start nailed on favourites in the C-grade final after going through the season unbeaten, with 11 victories.

In their regular season contests, Park were winners over Peaks by 17 runs in round three and 55 runs in round 10.

A wide spread of clubs feature in the junior finals, except in the under-12 contest which pitches Mt Barker Green against Mt Barker White at Sounness Park.

The Lions’ finals’ line-up is completed by their under-17s who face rivals Railways on Thursday evening.

Stars and Heat complete the series as they meet in the under-14 showpiece, which involves an early start on Turf South.
