Interior features include a leather-trimmed steering wheel, exclusive floor mats with yellow stitching, and heated electric front leather seats.

It shares the same 177kW 1.8-litre turbo petrol engine, paired to a twin dry clutch semi-automatic transmission.

The first Giulietta arrived at the 1954 Turin Motor Show as a two-door coupe, before the name was revived in 2010 and applied to the current five-door hatch.

Alfa Romeo marketing communications director Tom Noble said the limited edition was a fitting tribute.

“The Edizione Finale celebrates the true Italian flair the Giulietta is renowned for, with sporty special edition updates that will make this a unique collector’s item for Alfa Romeo enthusiasts or those searching for a distinctive, rare vehicle,” he said.
