The initial hype from Tiger King may have died down but Carole Baskin is still reaping the rewards, reportedly earning $28,000 in one day on Cameo.

The 59-year-old recently signed up to the greeting platform where fans can pay celebrities for personalised video messages and has brought in some serious coin according to The Sun.

She greets her fans with her signature catch phrase, “Hey all you cool cats and kittens”.

“I’m happy to record any kind of greeting for a birthday or anniversary or any kind of encouraging message to the animal lover in your life.”

A 30 second message from the Big Cat Rescue owner will set you back $199 but it seems fans are happy to spend —making this a lucrative side hustle.

She has a five star rating on her profile and samples of her videos.

“You know me as ‘Tiger King’ Joe Exotic’s intended murder victim but my real life’s work has been at Big Cat Rescue for a world where all wild cats live free. Please be a voice for cats: BigCatAct.com,” she wrote on her bio.

Baskin became an instant sensation on Netflix's Tiger King seven part documentary series about the life of an eccentric character, fellow zookeeper and her arch rival Joe Exotic.

Exotic has not found the same fortune and is currently serving a 22 year sentence behind bars in the US over his plot to kill Baskin.

She also recently took over his Oklahoma zoo.

Exotic has been corresponding by letter from prison about his mental and physical health and said he felt “abandoned” by his fourth husband, Dillon Passage.

“My soul dies a little each day,” Exotic said in a letter.

“Not long and my heart will stop like an animal that morns itself to death.”
