Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac and his partner Rebecca James have welcomed a third baby into their family, revealing the boy’s sweet name in a social media post.

The star weather presenter posted a photo to Instagram featuring a selfie with Rebecca holding their baby boy, named Miles Samuel McMillan.

“It’s a boy! Welcome to the world,” the post was captioned.

“Bec was an absolute superstar. Again. She’s recovering well. What a woman.”

Baby Miles is the couple’s third child, who appear to be sticking to an ‘M’ theme for their kids’ names — the pair share Margot, 3, and Mabel, 1.

“So excited for this little man to meet his big sisters,” Sam said.

“We now have 3 under 4. Wowsers.”

Sam’s followers were quick to congratulate the couple on Miles’ birth, including many familiar media faces.

“Mini Miles Mac. Welcome 💙 Those two big sisters of his will be sisters-in-charge for sure. Congrats,” fellow Sunrise presenter Kylie Gillies said.

“Hello nephew ❤️,” champion Aussie snowboarder Scotty James said.

“Congratulations Rebecca and Sam and welcome to the world Miles ... love Daryl 🫂🫂🫂,” legendary Australian singer Daryl Braithwaite said.

Miles is the couple’s first child since they relocated from Sydney to Melbourne in 2025.
