Filler episode if I don’t say so myself.

I really didn’t expect dead Ross’ murder to be dug up again but here we are making drama for the sake of it.

Since Ziggy and Dean took out the surf comp, Tane wants to know why they broke up because “they’re very close for ex’s”.

Quite frankly I’ve forgotten, and I don’t really care because Dean is pathetic – and they’re together in real life and have a very cute puppy - but Tane’s vague description about something dodgy does jog my memory. The split was entwined in the whole Colby killing dead Ross saga.

But Tane isn’t satisfied with Ziggy’s answer and questions Bella while she stands awkwardly waiting for Nikau to have a shower – a detail that’s really not necessary but I can only assume they had a few seconds of script to fill.

Not sure why this was integral to the plot but I guess the whole things can’t be about murders.

Bella goes straight to Zig the next morning.

“What’s going on with you and Tane,” Bella asks.

“No one else can know Zig.”

It’s a fair point because half the Bay knowns that Colby killed dead Ross and Dean was there spaced out on sleeping pills.

Anyway, Zig swings up at Tane’s place and they fight about absolutely nothing aka being “honest”.

Zig is just as confused as I am by this conversation.

“I think I’ve been pretty patient,” Tane begins which is never a good way to start a conversation.

Without Zig having to say much, Tane guesses that Dean did something illegal and Zig is keeping her mouth shut to protect Bella.

Now Zig has to “prove” how much Tane means to her by telling Mac that Tane can come over whenever he likes.

I truly hope this never comes up again and we can all move onto better things, like the source of drama, Jasmine, who doesn’t have much luck when it comes to love.

As I predicted many moons ago, newcomer and now psychopath Lewis has been very successful in driving a wedge between Jasmine and Tori who is the mother of Jas’ husband’s child.

Dead Robbo died and now her current boyfriend turned out to be a deranged murderer.

“Right now I can’t even look at her,” Tori says.

It’s been days since Budget McDreamy flatlined, but wouldn’t you know it, he’s showing no deficits despite being dead for a while.

Jasmine also emerges with news.

“Lewis confessed not just to hurting Christian, but to other deaths,” Jas says to Irene.

“I thought I knew him.”

Tori blames Jasmine for Budget McDreamy’s near death – well actual death experience – and have it out in the gym.

“Lewis is psychotic, how could you have missed that,” Tori says.

Tori goes home expecting Budget McDreamy to be equally as appalled.

“There’s something I need to tell you that’s going to be hard to hear,” Tori says to Budget McDreamy.

But he’s pretty level headed for someone who nearly lost his job and life because while Lewis was secretly killing off his patients.

“Why am I the only one that thinks Lewis needs to be punished for what he did,” Tori says.

“Sickened” by the news.

Budget McDreamy conveniently bumps into Jasmine – who has been running which is never a good sign.

“None of this was your fault Jas,” he says stating the obvious.

“If it wasn’t for you and Tori I wouldn’t be here.”

Then Budget Mcdreamy ambushes Tori so she’ll talk to Jasmine, but it seems too soon.

“You can’t let Lewis destroy your relationship. If you do he’s won,” Budget McDreamy reasons.

In other news Nikau has agreed to meet with the high-flying modelling agent only so he can turn them down.
